• Institutional Budget Hearings December – January

• General Assembly passes FY 2028 Budget (late March - early April)

• FY 2027 Third Quarter Financial Reporting due on April 16^th 
• Presidential certification of Quarterly Reports due April 23^rd 
• FY 2027 Allocation, Tuition, and Fee recommendations presented to the Board of Regents for approval. Delivered to institutions after approval

May 2027

• FY 2028 Original Budget due May 3^rd  
•  FY 2028 Original Budget presented to Board of Regents for approval at the May meeting
• Initial FY 2028 Annual Operating Budget submitted to OPB by USG Budget Office – Late May

July 2027

• Final budget amendments for FY 2027 must be completed July 18^th (subject to change based on OPB/SAO year-end calendar)
